About Us

Ministry of Welfare (MOW) was established in 2003,the founders having been involved socially at festivals since the late eighties and in working for medical and healthcare providers from the early nineties. Anyone remember the old Phoenix Festival?

We havin grown from covering just one event over a dozen per year.
In 2009 MOW welfare helped 34155 people which equates to about 9% of the festival goers needing some sort of welfare support.

Anyone can find themselves needing help and we have strived to create an environment where everyone feels welcome. We have over 100 trained crew which makes us the biggest welfare provider in the UK. We pride ourselves on being friendly, humanitarian and fair.

Our current events are; Leeds Summer Ball, Download Festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Lovebox,High Voltage, Global Gathering, Sonisphere, Leeds Asian Festival, Leeds Carnival, and Leeds Festival. More are added each year.
