Lost Property

With over a hundred thousand people at some events, no matter have careful people are, it is inevitable that some will lose keys, wallets, phones or even their tent! MOW is there to help by providing practical support in dealing with what can be a stressful situation.

We can help with advice, contacting support services, clothes, food, even a place to kip for the night!

At Download and Isle of Wight Festivals amongst others, we handle property that is handed in and try to reunite it with its owners. You can help when enquiring by providing an accurate description of what has been lost, e.g. I've lost a black wallet is a rather vague enquiry! Try to take a note of your imei number or sim card number before the event as it is sometimes the only way to identify your phone.

We keep property for six weeks after which it is destroyed or recycled. Please bear in mind when enquiring that not all property lost by you will be handed in, and the chances of getting something back are probably about the same as losing something in a small city.

There are enough success stories though to make it worth enquiring. Perhaps the best advice we can give is not to take valuables to a festival, split your cash and back up important numbers and contacts before partying.

If you are enquiring about property from Download Festival 2011 or Isle of Wight Festival 2011, Please note we will not be able to answer any emails until at least the 15th June. When we return from the festival, we need time to process the property before we can deal with enquiries. Thankyou for your patience.
